The Challenge
The client needed a social platform handling real-time location data, maintaining 60fps performance, and working flawlessly across older Android API levels and unstable networks.
Our Approach
We implemented a modular Kotlin architecture utilizing structured Coroutine channels to throttle and buffer incoming signals. Location packets are indexed locally in Room DB prior to rendering, decoupling data streams from main UI threads.
The Outcome
